High School Boys State Soccer Championships This Tuesday & Wednesday!
COMMERCE CITY, COLO. (Thursday, October 22, 2009) – Dick’s Sporting Goods Park and the Colorado High School Activities Association have announced that the 2009 State High School Boys Soccer Championship matches for 3A, 4A and 5A will be held at the stadium for the first time ever.
The match-ups are set for the 2 days of championship matches, and are as follows:
Tuesday, November 10 – 7:00 pm
3A Championship match: Colorado Springs Christian vs. Denver Christian (CSCS is home team)
Wednesday, November 11 (doubleheader)
5:00pm: 4A Championship match: Niwot vs. Rock Canyon (Niwot is home team)
7:00 pm: 5A Championship match: Fort Collins vs. Abraham Lincoln (Fort Collins is home team)
All three matches will be played on the Colorado Rapids' world-class pitch inside the stadium.
General admission tickets for each game are now on sale, with student tickets priced at $10 and adults $12.

Dick’s Sporting Goods Park played host to the High School Girls State Soccer Championships earlier this year in May, with St. Mary’s capturing the 3A title and Wheat Ridge and Chatfield completing undefeated seasons, winning the 4A and 5A championships, respectively.
About the Colorado High School Activities Association
The mission of the CHSAA is to serve its membership through the advancement of, and the student's participation in, interscholastic activities, which are an integral component and a complement to the educational goals of its member schools. The CHSAA is a voluntary association of 336 member schools, including 297 public and 39 private schools. Of the public schools, 12 are charter schools and three have incarcerated student participants. Of the private schools, 30 are church-related. The CHSAA started in May 1921.
