COMMERCE CITY, Colo. (Wednesday, February 10, 2010) – Dick’s Sporting Goods Park will serve as the home venue for the Denver Barbarians Rugby Club during the team’s spring 2010 USA Rugby Super League (RSL) matches, the stadium announced today.

 

The Barbarians will host the defending USA Rugby Super League Champion San Francisco Golden Gate in their first home match at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park on Sunday, March 14 at 1 pm.

 

The remaining home schedule will have the Barbarians facing the Dallas Harlequins on Saturday, March 27 and the Chicago Griffins on Saturday, April 17.

 

Last year, Denver and Chicago met in the stadium’s inaugural rugby event on April 11.

 

All three Barbarians home matches at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park will feature high school and other men’s rugby matches as curtain raisers prior to the featured RSL match.

 

General admission adult tickets go on sale Wednesday, February 17 at 10 a.m. and are priced at $10. Tickets for high school students, with ID, are $7 and children under 12 are admitted free.
