Colorado Rapids 2010 "Crosswinds Classic" Adult Soccer Tournament Set to Take Place July 10-11 This Year
COMMERCE CITY, CO - The Colorado Rapids and Dick’s Sporting Goods Park are pleased to announce that the club will host their second annual adult soccer tournament, the “Colorado Rapids Crosswinds Classic”, at the complex this summer!
The tournament will be held at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park on Saturday, July 10th and Sunday, July 11th, 2010, and will feature amateur men’s, women’s, and coed divisions.
Don’t miss out on this great opportunity to register your team to play at the only tournament produced by the highest level of soccer in Colorado, on the most pristine fields complex in the Rocky Mountain Region!
Entry Fee:
• $450 per team, with an 18-player roster
Tournament Format:
• Prizes for all winning teams
• Round-Robin Play
• Minimum of three matches
• Each match is broken up into two 30 minute halves
• 3 man referee system, with USSF Certified referees
Anticipated Divisions:
• Men’s Open
• Men’s Over 30
• Men’s Over 35
• Women’s Open
• Coed Open
Important Dates:
• March 15, 2010 - Registration Begins
• May 28, 2010 – Registration / Deposit Deadline
• June 7, 2010 - Team Confirmation / Final Payment
All participating teams and players must be registered with USSF. This includes USSSA, US CLUB (CASA), and USASA (CSSA).
