It's Colorado's Biggest & Best Independence Day Celebration at DSG Park on Wednesday, the 4th of July!
Coloradorapids.com (June 10, 2007)- The Colorado Rapids this year will be hosting the state's biggest celebration of America's birthday in Colorado on July 4 with a festival, game & fireworks extravaganza at Dick's Sporting Goods Park!
The Rapids will be hosting this year's final event in spectacular style, with the team's 12th Anniversary Independence Day match and celebration on Wednesday, July 4, 2007!
The event, this year dubbed "4th Fest Colorado", will be a joint production between the Colorado Rapids and Commerce City!
Kickoff on the 4th of July will be at 7:30pm MT at Dick's Sporting Goods Park, and the Rapids will be taking on the Columbus Crew. Tickets are no longer available for this match, it has been SOLD OUT.
Fans not holding game tickets can still attend the 4th Fest Colorado festivities: preceding the match will be a free all-day festival on the stadium's field complex, featuring live bands, kids activities, a beer garden, and sports activities on the field!
Following the game will be Colorado's biggest and most explosive fireworks show in celebration of America's birthday!
